Smoke after a headgasket change

My car was smoking through the exhaust. Went to a mechanic and they said
I blew a headgasket. Don't know why I listened, but I did and worked on the car myself. I was a noob, but I am greatful I got the chance to do everything from taking the head off to changing the Timing Belt.

Right now I am fed up, I started the car (very happy it started) and the smoke continues to pour. It smells like oil, looks like the seafoam effect, and lingers in the air.

Please help me diagnose this issue. I was thinking about finding a 1g head and swap that with my 2g cams.

What color is the smoke?
White is coolant, blue is oil.

Sounds like a hg problem, do a compression test, not to many variables.

it's oil. how I know is that I accidentally left my radiator cap off as I started the car. I just changed the HG (Felpro).

You check your turbo for excessive play? There a chance your turbo might of went, since you already change your headgasket.

didn't happen to replace your valve stem seals while the head was off did you?

very possible they are bad.

did not do the valve stem seals. i'll give it one more try.

Sounds like the headgasket didn't seal properly did you use mls or original oem ?

Are we talking a lot of smoke? Before you tear it all apart make sure you just didnt spill any oil around the engine and its just burning off.
