do you have a catalatic converter? If not, i would guess thats your problem.
 
Have you tried the guaranteed to pass stuff? I used it on mine when i got it smogged. I failed 3 times and then put it in the tank, once the tank ran empty, i passed with flying colors. You should try it and see if that works.
 
what is the guaranteed to pass stuff?!?

also, whats the deal with putting rubbing alcohol in your tank. if someone could refresh my memory on that trick. what numbers does it help and how much do you put in?
 
Its a fuel system cleaner you can get at kragen, auto zone, etc. All it does is clean your fuel injectors, valves, etc. Works great, as long as you have nothing mechanically wrong with your emissions. You wont pass if you still have it in the tank too. I don't know about the alcohol in the tank thing.

Does this also work if you don't have a CAT and EGR Valve?
