Smog Question....will i pass??? help!!

ok sorry guys if this is a stupid question but here goes....

i recently bought my 91 TSI AWD. the previous owner said the engine was replaced about 1 year ago (6 bolt...i checked... ). The car was originally a Arizona car and i live in Cali....Will I have any problems getting it to pass smog here in CA? Is there anything I can do to make sure it does?
