SMIM install?

I put on the smim awhile ago, but not I have to go back and tighten all the bolts to make sure they are all tight. I had a really easy way to get to the bottom bolts, but I forgot. Now for the life of me I can't figure an easy way to get to the bottom bolts on the intake manifold. What do you guys do?
I haven't jacked her up yet, but can you get to them from under the car, maybe?

Put the car on jack stands.....get under the car....behind the block is alot of room....it is very easy....you should'nt have a problem

Hmm, maybe I'll try that tonight> i have the heat barrier gasket on there. What should they be torqued to?
24ft lbs?

i never had a problem getting my lower bolts from under the hood, the torque specs im un sure about, I just tightened mine hand tight, maybe 30ish ft lbs, hasnt leaked ever. (also run the heat barrier gasket)

Problem is I can't get my hand under there.

I dont think i relocated anything on the driver side firewall taht would make more clearence other than ditching the emission control solnoids..

Not sure about your 2g, but on my 1g I took out the battery and got to the bolts from the passenger side.
