Smells like gas in car.

Here's my problem. At idle, when I have the heat or a/c on, it smells like it is blowing fumes in through the vents. I recently upgraded to 680 injectors (my stock ones went bad and had these laying around). My mods are a k&n filter, apexi muffler, fmic, boost gauge (with 10lbs of boost), and a greddy bov type s... I do not have an aftermarket fpr or fuel pump. My thought is that its just running rich due to the bigger injectors but would it run so rich that it smells of gas horribly through the vents?!

Thanks everyone!

With those 680s you are running rich as hell. I would seriously consider getting stock injectors back in the car as soon as possible to prevent further problems with your motor. How did you know your stock injectors were bad??? As for the gas smell you probably have an exhaust leak or if you don't have a charcoal canister hooked up it could be the vent from the gas tank that is left vented in the engine bay.

Well it was only one injector that was bad. But instead of buying a new $150 injector I just decided to swap in the 680's I had laying around. Also is there any way of just keeping the injectors in and then just get something like a fpr and set it lower? Im not to familiar with fuel pressure regulators...

Nope, a FPR would not help at all. I would look on ebay, craigslist or here for a set of 1g or 2g 450s, they could be had for around 60-80$ maybe cheaper. I forgot to mention CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS!

But wouldn't I have smelled it a week ago when I was running the 450's if it was a fuel leak?

I would make sure all the o-rings on the injectors were good on the ones you put in. Also like stated above make sure all the injector seals are still in the head, I've had them come out with injectors before and it's easy to not notice. Also get rid of the 680s and get some stock 450s, or at the very least get a crappy safc and wideband, but those 680s would push the safc to its limits if I'm not mistaken.
