So I'm doing some more maintainance on my car and I'm dealing with a few things I haven't dealt with before and am hoping someone can give me some direction with the below issues.

1 : I've done a BLT and eliminated 2 of 3 leaks. The 3rd leak is around my Intake manifold, closer to the middle. I thought it was my BOV hose at first, but it's not. I can lightly smell gas when I pressurize the system from the turbo. I'd take it this would be an injector? What would be the best way to eliminate the leak if it is at an injector?

2 : My exhaust manifold gets HOOOOT. The heat shield was missing when I got the car, so I wrapped the manifold to help dampen some of the heat, but it's still obviously hot. I'll be buying a coated and wrapped manifold soon enough, but for now is there any other way to help dampen the heat? Even with the exhaust wrap, it is still far to hot to even touch the hood of the car after driving it.

3 : At random times, around 2100-2450 RPMS, I get a "wiiiiiiiiiir" noise from the timing belt side of my engine. My timing is right, I've even done my ignition timing and it's right. It's just.. loud and annoying. I also removed my T-Belt and made sure my Oil pump was in phase. =/ What could this be?

4 : After about 5K, my car falls on it's face. It makes no more power and no longer pulls. Would this be related to the above stated Boost Leak?

What kind of boost are you running and what are your fuel mods?

Boost is at 10PSI. Engine handles it perfectly. Hell, it handles 15 (mistake with MBC >>) as if it were made to. But I'm not going to be turning up my Pee Ess Eye until I get Link.

Fuel mods? Wtf are those? Kidding. Fuel system is stock. Right down to the fuel pump. Stock injectors, everything.. save for the Fuel line from the Filter to the Fuel rail. The Rail and hose are from a 91'.

Get a spray bottle (from the kitchen ) and fill it with soapy water, spray it all over your injectors, then boost leak test. Other issues I don't know, sorry.
