small NPR on a 1g

so i might have the possibility of snagging a small NPR(24" x 8.5" x 2.25"). i have been searching around the forums and have seen that the 1g bumpers need some serious "tweaking" to get it to fit right. how much are we talking? this is only gonna be a one or two season deal since i will probly go built with a bigger turbo thus the intercooler will grow as well. any pics and info from people that have installed the small NPR on a 1g would be handy.

basically, i just dont want to hack the crap out of my bumper for an intercooler that i wont have for a real long time.

I got my fmic to fit in my car without ac very easily, that intercooler looks like it could be even easier to fit in. I had to cut very little of the front bumper to get mine to fit, I think with a 2.25 inch core, you could have to cut nothing at all. My core is 2.75 inches, and with cutting the radiator support about .5-1 inch, I only had to cut the bumper support 19mm I think. And since that was 19mm in from the face of the plate that mounts to the bumper support, I didn't have to cut most of the center since it bends away from the intercooler. I wish I had pictures to show you, but hopefully you'll understand.

it is a free bump, i didnt have to pay for it. ;-)

Did a quick search on the internet, the NPR is basically the Isuzu Truxk the intercooler came off of.
