slow when floored.. boost leak?

i was driving i sped up a lil and then it didnt want to go anywhere when floored it barely hit 50mph..... when it was floored i could hear air but idk were it was coming from.. im thinking i have a boost leak

Yeah, that's what it sounds like. Time to do a boost leak test.

Your timing might be getting pulled as well. If you let up on gas then ease into it does it perform better?

Really? Sounds like you know exactly what your problem is. Do you need re assurance that your car has a boost leak?

Its one of, if not the easiest things to do mechanically on our cars, with the exception of pulling fuses and unplugging wires.

Do a BLT, find your leak, tighten the clamp or replace the coupler.

First thing i ever do is a BLT if i feel the car is "sluggish"

check your flange gasket where it attaches to the turbo when mine blew it did kind of the same thing
