It took me a long time, but i finally finished putting a head on my 90 GST because I popped the timing belt. After installing the new head, water pump, timing belt, and clutch I crank it up and the engine sounds fine, it idles well, and drives without stalling, but the rpms increase really slowly. Even when you stomp on the gas, they raise slowly. I havent really messed with the CAS yet but i plan on putting a timing light on it soon. Do you think that incorrect timing could be an issue, or do you think that maybe i have low compression?
