My talon I bought last week has some horrible slop in the shifter. I heard from someone that you could go to the dealership and buy some replacement bushing or plastic parts to tighten up the shifter back to the stock feel? Any truth to this? It's a 91

I had the same problem with the shifter in my 1990 Laser RS, I was told it was the bushings. I never replaced them though and I'm in the middle of swapping my motor into a 1991 Talon TSI, so I won't know for sure till I'm done with the swap. :talon:
