I have a 92 gsx 5 speed and I'm looking for a downpipe. The car currently has a 3 inch cat with a slip fit to the stock downpipe, which is slip-fitted? to the catback. So my question is, does anyone make a downpipe that will slip on to my cat?

I am also wondering if a 2.5 or 3" would be better for me. I think the 2.5 would create less boost creep compared to a 3". I know a better o2 housing would prevent boost creep, but I can't really afford one of those quite yet.

My current mods are just K&N, free mods, 3" cat and 3" catback. Thanks in advance.

I had my slip fit 3" SS downpipe made for me by the guys at LogicPerformance for a few $$ less then the one they have on their site. I am sure you could get other shops to do the same, just sharing my exp.

Boost creep is due to bad flow in the exhaust turbine housing, porting the crap out of it and your O2 housing will reduce/prevent boost creep. I run an Evo3 16g at 15psi with no creep issues.
