slight knock when turning and giving gas

When I go around a rather sharp turn in say 2nd gear and give it gas, i hear a slight knocking noise.. any ideas as to what to look for? i replaced some suspen. boots in the front but still is doing it..

Sounds like you have a bad ball joint.

Check and see if there is any play in your cv joint. It might be that.

i would say cv axle also, wore out.

if you put on new boots the damage was already done i'm sure because the grease gets slung out, i guess you put in some grease when you done the job.

thanks ill check it out this weekend, i replaced the tie rod ends due to worn boots and checked all bolts and boots around and it all seemed alright, ill look more over the weekend and see if i figure anything out...

Do you have a 3 in exhaust? It could be hitting your driveline when you turn..

yes i do have a 2.5 inch down pipe then 3 inch back.. how would i solve that?
