Thanks for that link. I tryed various google searches but alas it just wasn't something I knew enough about to figure out the right keywords.

No worries man, it took me a while to find when I first found them haha. I used to do a lot of PC modding for people and sleeving their wires was one of the most common requests I got.

Wire sleeve is a lot nice than that shitty corrugated wire loom. I figured as long as its not in direct contact with something hot it should be fine. I know mine comes into direct contact with the video card heat sink and that think gets 90+.

Looks nice, I am going to start on mine soon as well. But going into the cabin with the fuse box

Well I see there is a lot of confusion about our tucks. We buy our loom material from Jegs racing it is really clean and can stand the heat. The guy posting above about sending a wire tuck to us is wrong :). You might be mixing us up with Porters Performance who has that option but we do not. We will only do it if we have the car because there is a lot that goes into a wire tuck then just us fabricating your harness. We can move the Fuse box inside if you would like. We have a shop car with it were the passenger air bag is, but there would be a price difference (not much). If anyone would like to set up a weekend trip to have this done we can arrange it and make an appointment I can bust these out in 1 day I just need to know in advance. Thanks ALLEN @ SIM

I would like to. But, I just don't think a drive to Michigan would be financially viable for a wire tuck. I also don't like the corrugated wire loom, I was wanted to use computer cable sleeving and heatshrink.

Once I get some finacial stability back I will be get getting a hold of you guys! Do you guys by chance dyno tune also?

I wish I had the patience and dedication to accomplish a task like that. I would end up having a freak out part way through and quitting. This looks great though, significantly enhanced from stock IMO.

Yes it does take a little time and patience. We have done a couple where the customers had us delete the A/C and all the lines along with a PS delete. The engine bay looks so clean without all of that clutter :) .

Not to mention 350.00 is a great price as well. There isn't much else you could do for that price to have such substantial visual upgrade. I'm actually jealous my car isn't that clean under the hood, or I should say under where the hood will be later today.

This is exactly what I'm doing in my car along with a wire tuck, plus a cruise control delete as well. Should look ridiculously clean.

Do you sleave/loom the wires?

I am thinking of starting a wire tuck, stashing the harness along the fire wall and running wires under the intake manifold etc. But I wanted to ditch all that crinkly corrugated wire loom and use Cable sleeving commonly used in PCs.

I am thinking I should be able to knock it out with 1 of these

Techflex Wire Sleeving Kit (Black) at Xoxide!

It contains

I wonder though if I should get 2?

So I have been searching for the materials I wanted to my own custom harness since this post was made and I finally found something better than the computer wire-sleeve.

Jegs carry this stuff that is similar. Flexbraid Wire Cover

Now I am going to try and source out new connectors

Talk about clean. Great work, wanting to do this during the winter downtime

i am very interested in this but i do have a question sort of. the previous ower of my car decided it would be a great idea to hack apart the harness for whatever dumb reason, it was put back together but not done very well. my question is would you still be able to do a wire tuck even though some of the harness is still messed up? and how much would it cost to put the fuse box in the glove box position? i live in green bay wi so it would only be a little bit of a drive for me. thanks for your time

might have to drive to michigan once my car is done just to have it done. that looks fantastic :)

Wow this thread is coming back from the dead!! Please email us for more details. [email protected]. Allen(tofast4u_99) does all the wire tucks and he would be glad to answer any questions regarding location of fuse box.

Eh I think putting the fuse box in a location where water can easily splash is just asking for a dead car.

This man. Are you sure you know what you are doing? Because that to me is a disaster location. :aha:

We have the inner wheel cover for it. We have done this to quite a few DSM's and my personal eclipse. I have drove through Rain storms, Snow storms full winters with no problems.
What about years from now, HEH. Seems like it's just a really bad idea to put the FUSEbox where the SPLASHguard is.

Because you know, water conducts electricity.

I just wanted to share a few more of my links. I found probably the cheapest automotive grade set of wire sleeve I could. Its Taylor Automotive wire sleeve.

Taylor Brand Blue Hose & Wire Cover Sleeve Set For V8 Engines : Automotive Products 41$ and some changed shipped. Way more than enough to do a DSM wire harness. It only comes in blue or red though, no black. But if your doing a tuck you won't see much of the cover anyways, and you can always use black heat shrink for the wires you can't hide.

Set of 4 Quick-release Jetronic/EV1 injector plugs with pig tails

Set of 4 Quick release Fuel Injector connectors. I know a lot of people are missing clips and/or have broken fuel injector pigtails. These look much better for connecting/disconnecting.

I still need to source an ignitor pigtail, and a MAF Pigtail.

That's really clean! Wish I wasn't so far down south or else I'd have that done :) Never hurts to have a little more room in the engine bay with our cars :p
