I picked up a silicone hose "Dress Up Kit" a while back from a local performance shop, it had every size I needed, even some large hose for the coolant overflow hose.
I went back to buy another kit, but they no longer sell them.

So I ordered a kit off ebay.
This is what I got:

My old hose is on the left, ebay hose on the right.

The ebay hose is so thin that it will probably collapse under vacuum.
I decided to use it since I had nothing else, it bumped my hot manifold when I was installing it and it started to melt! The whole purpose of silicone is that it is suppose to be heat resistant.

I can't remember what brand the original kit was I got.

I was hoping someone could give me some good brands or a place to get a QUALITY hose kit??? I don't want to get ripped off again.

I know a lot of places sell individual hose, but I rather get the assorted kit, because I never know what size I am going to need. And I did do a search, couldn't find anything newer then 2003.

Thanks.

Here's the one I got! RRE is the best!

RRE's Larson Silicone Hose Kit

You can look at my gallery to see pics of them installed.

These colored silicone hoses withstand heat much better than the stock rubber hoses. The kit includes enough 4mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm hose to replace all the vacuum hoses, the coolant over flow hose, boost control hoses and blow off valve hoses to fit the average car. . 1G cars use a lot more 4mm hose so the price is a bit higher. They are not for use as water lines or fuel lines. You remove each stock hose, one at a time and replace it with the silicone hose. You cut to length.
Isn't that a little disappointing?

I guess but I wouldn't ever want to try use a slicon hose that's made to be used as vaccuum hoses for fuel or water lines. Just stick to the good ole' OEM rubber hoses for that.
