My GSX seems to be slightly bogging with heavy acceleration. My turbo also seems louder than normal, when it opens up, it sounds too loud, maybe like its leaking. I was also thinking it could be partially a need for new spark plug wires. However, im not sure why the turbo seems louder. Any suggestions or comments would be great thanks....

Crack in your exhaust housing is very common with stock turbo's with lots of miles.... hows the mileage on your turbo? is it stock?

Also is your heat shield still in tact... loss of heat sheild can make the turbo sound louder but also lose heat from the exhaust manifold which = loss in performance...

turbo is stock with 66,000 miles on it, i'll have to look to see about the exhaust and heat shield, and i'll let ya know, thanks

take out the intake and check the turbines of your turbo. If there is oil on it then you turbo is shot, also the turbines must spin freely and they is no play if you move it up/down and sideways.
