Side Skirt Conversion Question

I was wondering what the difference between the 95 and the 97 side skirts were? Could i just use my existing 95 skirts that are grey and paint them to the color of the car or are there true differences? Also, when it says they do not come with door caps what exactly does that mean? Thanks Guys

Door caps are the pieces that are on the bottom of the door. The side skirts from 2ga are different in design from the 2gbs. Not sure how though other than the gray stripe.

If i am correct the 2ga's were the 95-96 models, and the 2gb's were the 97's on up to 99
