I recently went with superbright leds in red on the cluster and need to change my boost guage now to match. I've got the AEM Uego on the pillar for my air/fuel, no problem there but my boost guage is a Faze mechanical w/ white face, green illumination..sucks, I know. Post some pictures if possible (you know you don't need much encouragement you ego-maniacs) and tell me what you got. :D

Nothing too special

I have autometer cobalt series full electronic gauges for boost and EGT on my pillar along with my innovate wideband. I also have cobalt series electronic fuel pressure gauge and oil pressure gauge that I will be adding around my gauge cluster.

Nice entries, keep'em comeing, I know there's more out there. I've got some decisions to make pretty soon. Don't forget descriptions or makes and brands to sway our opinions. :thumb:

OP-If you went all red with the interior lights, this would be a good match for that.

AEM Wideband
Glowshift 7-color Oil Pressure
Glowshift 7-color Boost

Most complain about the quality of Glowshift, but I've never had a problem with them and the price is great.

Those look nice lit up wes but I'm not too crazy about the stealth/tinted aspect though. They need power to be visible durring the day right? Are they mechanical? They do look like what I'm looking for.

Thanks man, they do look very good IMO. They are the clear lens version. I had tinted gauges in the past and it was impossible to see during the day even when lit up. I have mine wired to a constant 12v source which means they're always on, so I can't say how easy they are to read during the day. But the numbers and needle are white so I'm sure it wouldn't be very hard to read, it would just be best to at least have them set to white during the day. You can hook them to the dimmer switch as well for brightness control.

The boost gauge is purely mechanical and the oil pressure gauge is electrical. The oil pressure sending unit is small and fit in the stock sending unit's spot with little issue. The little issue being the sending unit's thread count is slightly different than that of the stock sender (NPT vs BSPT I think), but some thread sealant and a decent sized wrench did the trick. Leak free and problem free for over 3k miles, even with 100psi+ cold starts.

BTW-the triple pillar pod is Glowshift as well.

Wish I could find a way to make the S7 Gauge faces brighter, cause the Boost Gauge is super bright.

I've never seen a turbo gauge that would match those clusters, what brand is it.

BTW all mine are electronic gauges, I didn't like the idea of running boost or oil or fuel into my cabin, it just doesn't sound like a good idea.

The brand is labeled right there on the gauges. The Faces and the Boost Gauge are all AC S7's.... There are tons of different S7's:

As for running boost in the cabin.... its not even remotely unsafe. Its a tiny little plastic tube that you can't even tell air is coming through it. Its nothing like blowing a coupler under boost. Only issue with Mechanical boost gauge is running the plastic line, its easy to kink.

No danger whatsoever running a mechanical boost gauge. Plus electronic boost gauges tend to be laggy compared to their mechanical counterparts.

I really like the tripple gauge pods but I also like the look of sleepers and completely hiding the gauges down in the dash or something. The only issue with dash gauges is sometimes depending on location you have to completely take your eyes of the road to view that's your at 30psi but also heading into a tree.

You shouldn't be doing 30 psi, let along speeding fast enough on public roads to loose control and hit a tree.

That's why you get a hose barb adapter and use a silicone vacuum hose.
