My question is gonna be a dumb question and I think I already know the answer. So here it goes, when I turn the key to the on position should it show pressure on my afpr? I am confused on this but I think it should show pressure with it in the on position.

No. Fuel pump doesnt run with key in just on position. Fuel pressure should remai. For quite some time once car is turned off but gou do not build any pressure simply from on. Car must be cranking and of course once it starts it remains o .
