Should I rebuild with better internals?

So I've been kind of being lazy and not doing much with my car since I hit 11's in it.

However, I finally am going to shell out the money to have my car tuned by someone. I've tuned it thus far but I'd rather have someone who knows what they're doing tune it further.

My appointment for tuning is December 12th.

I'm looking for 550-600whp.

I have an HX-40 / mani / etc that's going on here within the next couple weeks.

However I got to thinking, I usually don't see many people pushing stock internals past 400-500whp. Just wondering if I should go ahead and do a rebuild with a better bottem end. I was thinking Ross Pistons with Eagle Rods?

I have full faith in the tuner I'm using, but I worry 600whp would just be too much for my 2g piston / 1g rod bottom end.

I was thinking the JE pistons with Oliver rods for my bottom end.

i currently have a bottem end ready to be put on in my car with ross/eagle combo...

^^ thats my plans i already have eagle rods and a spare block workin on saving for pistons now.... until then im slowly pushing my stock 6bolt to the limit LOL

same thing as what im doing LOL im having fun with my 260k motor and building a spare motor on the side.... i basically decided to go all out on the bottom end cause once i put the motor in i wouldnt want to end up pulling it back out if i wanted more.... atleast with the ross/eagle combo i have alot of room for power.... not saying that a stock bottom end cant handle my needs but its better for the long run for me....
