Should I go catless?

This already tells me that you seem to be only asking if you should go catless for the 'wow' factor. I'm sure you can hear a slight different in exhaust note, but it'll probably just be your mind playing tricks on you. I've also ran a catless turboback for YEARS and have shot flames out once or twice. If you want to shoot some flames, run your car pig rich and leave a lighter by the exhaust tip.

Where is your sensor?

Got a sensor on my dp and after my hi flow cat.

shhhh dont tell anyone..ahah but im catless. full 3" turbo back. alot of exhaust leaks. i gotta fix that but if i were you i would keep the cat. i want to put a hi flow cat on my set up. scared of cops. and when it comes to smog here in CA i wont have to swap it all for the stock exhaust. + its hurting our environment. haha.

LOL well im in chicago they dont hook nothin up to your exhaust or look if u have a cat or not...all they do is hook up a scanner. plus i wont have to go back for another 2yrs and i know by then i will have dsmlink or a different car who knows..

Thats not a resonator, its a flex section. It allows the motor to torque back & forth & not stress the whole exhaust system.

If i run a str8 pipe and delete my cat will the aem wideband still be accurate?

Since I'm all for putting a smack down on the environment, I so go full cat-less, with a test pipe to bolt in a cat when you do need to get smogged.

If it were me, I wouldn't go catless. Its not worth it hurting the environment for a slight increase in performance. If you already have a high flow cat you won't gain much more.

You gotta keep in mind that 90% of cats out there are so plugged that they're stealing so much hp and fuel economy that THEY'RE actually the whats hurting the environment. A health running car without a cat will still put out less emissions than one that runs like donkeydick and has a cat.

And to the OP, as long as you're not gonna get busted for going catless and face some ridiculous fine, do it up.
