should i get these injectors?

ok, i know this is in hte wrong forum but anyway

i have an evo 3 turbo and i need to get injectors. i have the stokc 450's in right now, and i have a wally 255 pump. i went to my local shop and they said they would sell me evo9 560 injectors for 250 bucks wiht less than a thousand mles on them. i was wondering if this is a good deal or if there are better brands out there that i could order for cheaper off a site or something

What you should do is get 660cc they will run good with your car with your current set up. I am not sure if you have a S- AFC II controller but if you don't, get one.

well 2 different shops said i shouldnt get anything higher thatn 550's until i get an safc. and i dont have one. so what should i just stick ot htose 560's. is that a good price for htem

You shouldn't get ANY injectors larger then stock until you have some way to control them (S-AFC or otherwise).

Once you have some fuel management I would suggest some 650's.

You should listen to them and get the AFC and not waste your money on those 550s. You seriously cant save up 50 more bucks and get a SAFC2? You really need something to tune the car before you throw injectors on it.

With out a SAFC, DSMLink, or MAFT you should stick to the stock injectors. Bigger injectors have different dead time and pulse flow rates, with out the ability to compensate for this the car would run like crap if it ran at all.

The injectors you want are FIC 650's, you will not top them out on an Evo3 turbo and they can be had for $280.

in regards to the price i got brand new pte550s for 200. not used. i'm going for a fairly mild build and will like the fuel consumption of the 550s better since she is still gonna be a daily driver.

Get an Safc2 or possibly that new neo one i havent really looked into it. Extrempsi has a really good price on Safc's i believe its 269 new. Also go bigger than 550's. Your turbo will creep up to 20 psi and you will not be able to handle that very well on 550's especially if you end up going higher psi than that. Do you have an AFPR? if you dont get one.

20psi is obtainable on 550's. Heck I am using 550's @80% IDC and running 20psi.
