I got some side skirts off of a 2nd gen spider, and I was thinking about buying a front lip to put on my oem front bumper, what are your oppinions on these lips? I've seen some with them and they look pretty sick imo.

Also, where can I find a decent one?

I dont know if you've seen my thread in the custom fabrication forums, but I'm developing a few things in carbon fiber over the next month or so. After the initial spark plug cover and timing covers, I'm planning on designing a carbon fiber lip if its something you'd be interested in. I plan on keeping it simple and clean, nothing over the top, and I'm trying to keep costs down as well. I'll have a few options available (fiberglass, fiberglass with carbon fiber overlay, or full carbon fiber) for almost all of my products. Feel free to check out the other thread or PM me if you are interested in any other information. The carbon timing covers/spark plug cover should be available in about 3 weeks, and depending on how the buy goes, the lip could be available roughly 3 to 4 weeks after that.

If you like it then do it. It's easy as that because it's your car. Sure peoe make fun of body kits but the owner has a choice. I like how lips are if done properly.

Maybe it's because I've seen the two or three lips for these cars a bajillion times, but they are just played out to me and make the car look older (in my eyes at least) if there was a newer design I'd probably jump on it though.

It will make your car go faster!ROFL They're cool, if you like coming in sideways to every driveway. First pot hole, or speed bump, and BLAM! Damage! Just for looks performance doesn't do it for me.
