Should i buy this modified 92 talon tsi?

There is a 92 talon tsi awd for sale. dude wants $3000 with these mods on it what do u think should i let it pass or get it? What questions or concerns would u have about this car?

also says it has no boost or any kind of leaks...and compression is fine all the way across.197,457 miles on the odometer

The hood on the car sucks it has a mitsubishi logo etched threw it in the front middle area and he says in rain or snow it harldy gets in the engine bay and if it does it dries up right away...it seems it would fall around the headers area so its gonna need a new hood or sum sheet metal to be placed under that logo to stop water from getting in or anything else...Or do u guys think its not a big deal?

Lots of mods for the money- could use a little underhood cleanup, though. I never understand why someone would dump so much into their car and not upgrade something as simple as the intake pipe.

Turbo's a knockoff....I think the MBC is installed backwards, too.

If you can get it for $2000 them go for it but it is an auto. Sounds like a sound investment but do not overpay.

There's nothing wrong with an automatic car if there done right they shift faster and more precise then a 5 speed, plus your turbo stays spooled all the time.

Im just worried about buying it because the holes in the hood who knows how much water and crap got inside but the seller says it really dont and if it did it would dry up real fast from the heat in the engine bay...but as u can see the manifolds are starting to rust up and the intercooler pipe but otherwise the rest has no rust i can always polish the manifold and pipes i guess...

If you do buy this car, please put a upper timming belt cover on! Also for the hole in the hood, you could put a piece of plexiglass underneath and use some type of seal around it.

Use real high temp plexi glass to put under the emblem so did you end up getting the car ?
