Should I buy these Pistons???

Just looking for some opinions and advice. I'm in the process of building my gst. Not looking for huge numbers or anything. Just looking for a fun reliable 350-400 bhp street car. Didn't initially plan on doing forged internals but I saw these wieseco 85mm 9:1 on Craigslist. Dude said his buddy built the motor, then totaled his car less than 1000 miles later and parted everything out, so he bought the Pistons and didn't end up using them. What's your guys opinions on used Pistons? He says they have less than 1000 on em. I could get them for about 100-150 which doesn't seem to bad cause they seem to cost around 5 new. Thanks in advance for any opinions or advice

Those have more than 1000mi on them. I'd pay $100 for them if you have a standard bore block that is in good shape. Also I don't know if you can use them if they are evo8 pistons. The valve reliefs should be on the wrong sides.

Oh really? Didn't know evo 8 Pistons wouldn't work. I'll clarify with the seller. Thank you
