1G Shortblock assembly pricing...opinions needed?

Where did you get it done at? I need a stroker motor setup and was thinking bill at Apex but not after a bad review recently and some in the past on chittowndsm.

No an old timer in Rockford does it for me. His usual work is tractor motors and flathead fords .

I wouldn't hesitate to send stuff to apex, it's just too far for me. The review is probably from spoolindddumbass, and he's not someone you should listen to.

Yah I figured that much guys, I'm just looking at it like Manley turbo tuff as no question solid ass rods. The more I think about it though my fp black isn't going to make much over 600 the eagle should handle that

I guess i never checked eagle's site @donniekak extreme psi has their rating at "over 600hp" guess extreme needs to update their product discriptions

I put a bunch of 130mph passes through my eagle rods. Even broke a wisco wrist pin. Going to put a back up motor together with them and some .040" over probe pistons. Fully expect to put 700whp though it.
