I was driving with the window down yesterday and heard some interesting things. When I shift from 1st to 2nd, there would be 2 clanks coming from the transmission. Otherwise it's just 1 clank for any other shift. :confused:
 
Yeah, my tranny does it from 1st-2nd only also. I just live with it. I'm gonna be putting synchroshift in soon, and see if that helps. I just live with it.

What were you running before? I need to change my fluid too, excep the damn plug bolts are stuck! :mad:

I wish our trannies were better :(
 
To be honest, I'm not sure because I didn't change it yet from when I bought the car.
Yeah the bolts are a PAIN IN THE ASS. I'll be changing it soon, when i do i'll let you know if it helps.

I just changed mine on Saturday. Put BG II in, and I think it still makes the noise (haven't driven it much yet).
