I've done a lot of searching on this site for problems but i cant seem to find someone with my
same situation..ive found a lot of threads with similar issues but i cant seem to pin-point my problem..anyway, my transmission will shift perfectly for atleast two months it seems before
i have to have my clutch bled..this generally fixes the problem for another couple months..
what happens is my shifting becomes very hard from a stop after driving the car for over
45 minutes or driving it hard at all..it requires a lot of force to get it into first gear but from there it will be ok with a little rougher shifting into the following gears, also reverse will grind
everytime the shifting becomes harder, from my researching ive found it could be many things..i dont think it is the pedal assembly because this problem is resolved after bleeding
the clutch..i have also had my master/slave cylinders both replaced..could it be the clutch
line? any help or advice would be much appreciated..thanks

forgot to mention that it seems like what is happening is the clutch will not disengage..

ive only had the car for a year and it has 110,000 miles...the previous owner kept a lot
of the records but i never found one for a new clutch or reworked flywheel.. there is still
no slipping so if it is the stock clutch it is probably going to go out in the near future but
currently it holds strong.. and no to the TOB, fork, and pivot ball

Inspect the clutch hose and the metal lines for the system. You can sometimes have a small hole in one of them and not even know its there.

all right good deal..yeah to me that would make the most sense since it will be good as new for awhile until it starts getting air in it and then messes up..and since bleeding it fixes it..thanks for everyones input

Pop the tranny open and check the input shaft. Have you been trying to launch it?

nope, i take it pretty easy when driving..usually shift at 3500..i only floor it probably once everytime i drive and have never launched it..i dont really feel up to buying a new clutch yet until i get some more money saved up

can someone give me a good link/advice to show me how to get easy access to the clutch line or anything else that might be leaking?

i couldnt find anything on vfaq when i looked earlier..i think im just going to go get a new clutch since it is pretty much gone anyway..no slipping yet but its adjusted to the max
