Shifter movement fix(VFAQ)...help 2G's

I'm just curious if the VFAQ ( http://www.geocities.com/qwik93awd/Vfaq/shifter.htm ) applies to 2G's as well, and if it does help the shifting? The description says works for all, I just wanna see if it does.

Yes, it would apply. It could help your shifting if those being loose are the cause of your shifting troubles.

that's only a fix for 5th gear though correct?

But why not just get some shifter bushings up by the tranny and the sybroski shift kit under your shifter plate.

Have ben using the ones under the shifter already for a while now (6-8 months), but the ones by the tranny are on B/O with Mach V
