Shift kit installed. only reverse HELP!

I installed the translab shiftkit on my 95 TSi AWD today followed all of the steps except replacing the 1 o-ring on the valve body (wasn't a replacement with my kit) everything else went great. got it all back together filled with fluid turned it over and I have park, Reverse and N.

I have no forward gears any help!?

from what i understand the only thing that you would have messd with that would cause no foward gear engagemant would be the damper valve i believe but im sure transdude can correct me if im wrong....

well I took the valve body out again and took it apart put it back together same as I thought I did before. I now have 1st 2nd and 3rd but where overdrive should kick in it downshifts to 2nd.
