Hey is it just me or do any of you 2g guys get dust and junk stuck in the sides of your shift boot? Is there something to prevent that from happening or is there a special boot you can use? I keep having to take it apart to get it clean. TIA.

I vacuum first and then load the cloth i clean with with leather cleaner (i use it on my interior because i'm too lazy to use multiple cleaners). It seems to work relitively well but i take my shiftboot off every time i have the console off to get any excess dirt.

What works better than anything is one of those "Swiffer" dusters. Best thing you can use for your interior. They are worth it.

If you go to the grocery store, somewhere they have long wooden shish-kabob sticks. I use those because the tips are pointy but soft enough not to poke a hole in the leather. Flick out the dirt and crap and suck it up!

i also use leather cleaner and just wipe, but beforehand, i usually blow down all the tight spots like that with the air compressor
