SHAVED REAR WIPER WITH spoiler

What do u think about my rear wiper being shaved ?

also shaved the antenna i would like to add!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

looks good but now you don't have a rear wiper... I don't have one on my RS and it sucks sometimes, especially when there's snow

i'm in the process of getting rid of the rear wiper as well. i don't have to worry about snow though cause i only drive my mitsu in the non winter seasons. looks very good though, hopefully mine turns out that good!

Also don't have to worry about snow if you're driving fast enough.

Actually I just finished installing CF hatch and I'm having a heck of a time deciding if I want the wiper back on there.

Good job! it looks very well done/clean. i wish i would have done that good of a job plugging my spoiler holes when i put on my high rise spoiler

ive not had a problem in the rain seeing with out the wiper but idk if it will see snow again.. ill get a beater with heater for that

THE STEPS I TOOK TO DO THIS:

I made a patch out of thin old furnace duct for the back side of the wing jb welding it to the back side of the wing giving the bondoglass something to adhere too then i scuffed it up used a few applications of bondoglass as the filler material cause its water proof flexable and sandable then to finish it off i used the finishing putty sanded it and primed it checked how level it was sanded it back down to get it looking right i also reccomend a dark colored sandable primer to see imperfections and smooth them out b4 paint and clear and thanx for the support

This looks really good! I just used body plugs for temp solution until I shave it. Now go fix that fender rust

Looks very professional. I was just thinking a short while ago that I'd be stuck with the little bolt hanging out of my rear spoiler since I hate the rear windshield wiper. Now there is hope. Thanks.

yupp NP I couldent stand the wiper and the antenna shaved was just an idea i got after that and said y not make it all smooth and clean

Since you remove the antenna do you have the in body antenna or no radio period ? I'm somewhat interested in this as well

you may have broken one of the support brackets that mounts the wing

i have my radio i just bought a flat sticky window antenna and put it in the rear window or ill use the old squirter hole for a small 1 inch antenna

looks good i shaved my antenna on my 1gb talon, and got a spoiler with no wiper.

Why not just buy the center wing piece without the wiper hole?

under the spoiler there are black and white plastic clips that holt it to the screw heads on the hatch. are they upside down. are some missing. is the sheet metal on the hatch dented in.

iugrad92turbo's talon has a different spoiler than mine!!!! my car is an eclipse not a talon 2 different rear designs

I had to rework these brackets for me to put it back on. It was always crooked.Maybe its the hatch that runs down on one side. I need a new hatch anyway. Its rusted and water is running in through the weatherstrip.

The hatch in my 1994 Talon is leaking . I need to fix it and fast. If you have any tips on how to fix that leak then please tell me as my hatch has zero rust and has an almost new window in it.

how much do these cost and are they easy to install? are they also as good as a stock antenna? my rear hatch as also shaved of everything.

it works ok and u have to reroute your antenna wire up to where u are relocating your antenna too and just plug it in

check your trunk alignment and bump stops at the bottom u can adjust them a little or u need new seals if that doesnt work
