Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on why when I hit around 70 in my car the steering wheel shakes pretty bad?

I thought so too until i put my new rims and tires on. BSA 259's with 205/40/17 Toyos or however you spell it

Motor mounts are causing me to shake, I also have harsh shifts when putting the car into Drive or Reverse. How much is this gonna cost me to have done at a shop?

I just had a simillar problem. As it turned out I had a bad cv on the front right which eventualy caused wear on the cv shaft, once I replaced them the car ran nice and smooth again.
