Well like the title says, my car is violently shaking in reverse. It done it a couple times, very minor, before i had my engine rebuilt last month. I figured it was just not enough gas or something so i dismissed it. But now its back and is really bad. Does anybody know what causes this or what to check?

Well I just had that problem along with down shifting into second the same thing would happen, two weeks after it got really bad my clutch blew out a spring, not saying for sure that's what's wrong but now with my new clutch everything is back to normal, just a past experience man...good luck bro

Would a bad front or/and rear mount cause this problem. My mechanic said my pressure plate, disk and flywheel looked great, no hot spots or cracks, he also said the fingers on the PP looked good, no abnormalities. And i doubt that anything would happen to it in the last 300 miles since i had the engine rebuilt and i just been driving it easy. So is there anything else that could cause the car to shake down shifting and reversing?
