Guys I need some help. I don't know or can't find what wire to ground to check timing. Where is it located? I have a 1993 2.0.

Ok I found the connector. As soon as I ground it the car dies. I can keep it running by feathering the gas pedal. I have an AEM system installed. Do I still need to jump that wire? On the plate buy the crank that has the notches I can only advance the timing to the middle notch which is obove the 10. I can't figure out which notch it should be on. Also the issue with the jumper wire. why the car dies. It was all running good but the bolts on the ignition timing rattled loose.
