Does anyone know how to make the sliders on the bottom of the seats slide further, or all the way out? Im going to have more notches machined in them to get the extra couple inches of leg room. The pics below can probably explain it better thanI can. Trying to remove the yellow from the red.

I dont know if you would rather go this route but what I did to get racing seats in is take some 1/4" steel bars to support the weight and hold in a wreck, cut them to the size I wanted with the sliders from the factory seat then assembled it into a box and attached it to the seat with high strength bolts. The only difference in your case would be to move the bracket to fit a few inches back on the bracket and mold the bracket to fit the floor a few inches back from stock.

The reason I was looking at doing it this way is, there is a guy at my work who did it to a Taurus. Its only a couple of inches, if its a bunch of work Im not going to worry about it.
