Ok.. so i just finished installing a kenwood headunit, i have it hooked up with the plug adapter where the headunit sits, obviously my dash tweets dont work.

So now my questions,

I use a 9v battery to pop the speakers at the harness under the passanger seat that went into the stock amp, ill beable to find the tweets using this method.

Now to hardwire them is what im confused about, i then splice into those wires at the stock amp harness, put bass blockers on, and then run that wire back to the headunit and splice into the door speakers coming out of the headunit harness?

I don't do much for car audio anymore but... I don't use the stock dash tweeter location at all. It's an odd location. I wired mine straight from the deck to the door speakers. As I was not using an amp I did not use bass blockers. 6X9s in the rear. I used 6 & 1/2 " front speakers. Ideally I would use 6 & 1/2s in the front with remote tweeters and put them in the back of the side view mirrors. That's a nice flat panel and makes it easy to aim the tweeters at your ear.
