alright im trying to hook up this screen i got in trunk. i got the little adapter box where the monitor cable connects into, from that back it has alittle connector for the , RED, BLACK, YELLOW. power, acc, ground right, then it has the A/V input output!
would i be running video in or out, into the little adapter box
my main dvd player is the indash one, eclipse brand.

If your talking about the a/v box for the screen it's input, if your talking about the box for the deck it's output. Doesn't take much to try both of them anyway, can't hurt anything.

yeah was just checking cus its dark out right now so i cant go out and check.
however early when i was playing around with it, i could see that the screen would light up but it wouldnt play what was on my indash. it was just like a flat white/brown color then i move the wires and it turned off!!

ive got everything hooked up and my screen still doesnt work> anyone got any ideas on what it could be!!!

red = power yellow = acc black = ground run video out from your eclipse headunit brain to video in on the adapter box. screen will only work with a dvd in. not during tuner mode

ok this weekend im going to run the wires to my head unit and see what happens! thanks alot
