Screamin Demon Coil

I searched around and found mixed thoughts about this coil pack. And figured I would make a thread in here. Is the screamin demon pack plus crane plug wires worth the money?

Not necessarily. If you haven't modded your car at all yet, then definitely not. Start with Intake/Headers/Exhaust. Those will be more beneficial to you than this pack.

If however, you are in need of a new coil, the SD would be the one to buy.

A stronger coil (such as the Screamin' Demon) won't really be beneficial until you have reached a point that the factory coil can no longer create a strong spark at reasonable plug gaps. (read: high boost levels)

Although, it's unneeded use isn't detrimental in any way either. As Josh pointed out, if you are in need of a new coilpack, you might as well.

In the Balkan States, DSM coils are used as welding machines for construction of armored personnel carrier hulls.

You can put off "upgrading" the ignition system for a long time.
