scm 6152e Turbo install

Ive searched but havent come up with anything guys. I have been offered one of these turbos for 370 bucks....needs a build soon and had a couple questions. How much would a rebuild for something like this cost? Ive read that it can put up some big numbers in the HP. And what sort of install kit would i need? Thanks guys

I don't know how much it would cost for a rebuild but if you contact PTE they should be able to give you a quote.

Yes, you can definitely make some big numbers with this turbo, it's often compared to a GT35r. You don't need an install kit. It's an oil cooled turbo so upgrade the oil feed and return line to stainless steel. Because it's not coolant cooled, loop the coolant ports on your thermostat housing.

Yes as long as it's the SCM6152 (the scm stands for sport compact mitsubishi), the T3 turbos are SC6152 (minus the M). The scm6152 uses mitsubishi's flange so it will bolt right up to your stock manifold.

It's a great turbo, I'm actually buying a SC6152 soon. Good luck and let us know if you need any other help.

Ya its a scm and the guys throwing in lines and all for 400 shipped....i think im gonna jump on this (haha and install the old t25 on my little sis's neon for fun :0 ) haha
