schley valve spring compressor

I just wanted to know if anyone had experience with the use of the schley valve spring compressor for installing new valve stem seals with the head still on the block. I would much rather do this job on my own if possible. Ik the miller tool is designed right for the 4g63 motor but thats also more costly. I wanted to find out if the schley tool is worth the money and if anyone had success with it or is it just better to have the head takin to a machine shop to have them installed. Thanx for your opinion.

However, this is the one that I made and it worked good for me, and it only cost me about $14 to make. I found a metal bar at my friends house. Bought a new socket, because I did not want to break up my set (Autozone brand is a very good socket, it was hell to cut through), and new C-clamp. Good luck.
