from what I have seen here ya go. Just take it to Autozone and they can scan it for free..
 
Should just take it and get it scanned for free..Better yet just buy a cheap reader..
 
^Really go look under your dash(drivers side by center console) and you should have a OBD2 scanner hookup.

2g Eclipses are OBD-II. Although the government mandate wasn't until 1996, Mitsubishi implemented the OBD-II standard in all 2g cars.
12 is the fault code indicating a power failure to the ECU and 55 signals the end of codes.

^^Should know I always wanted to do a camaro(93-97) headlight conversion to my 90 eclipse. The headlights would be under the headlight where the clear housing is....

^Should know I have already looked into it...Takes out the pop ups and it gives you 2 lights(high/low each side)..
