Should read my lame car/weather story.....

The other day I was doing the thermostat on my red Laser and the wind is blowing crazy fierce. I'm trying to ignore it, but it keeps catching my propped up hood and rattling it. I'm afraid it's going to slip out from that hook that the hood prop has on the end.

I do my best to ignore it, but then this strong gust blows through the parking lot, catches the hood, and the prop stick falls out. I shoot back out of harms way with the wind still blowing strong enough to keep the hood from crashing down. I catch it and replace the stick.

I'm close to being done, so I try to stick it out for another ten minutes or so. A second later it happens again, but the gust is really quick this time. It undoes the prop stick from its spot and the hood falls down on my back. I was too pissed to continue after that.

Knows replacing the thermostat, should have been easier than that..It's only two bolts..Your lucky you dont have a CF hood..You can't really do anything under the hood in the wind if it's cf..It's waaay tooo light for a windy day..
