Knows EDM really needs to clean up those headlights. The lip looks real good but now those headlights stick out like a sore thumb.

Knows I'm very good at that. :)

Doesn't know I'd say it like "he's good at it, eh?!"

should help me choose my gauges. theres an a pillar now, but i think they are ugly. i found a cool bezel with a space for 2 gauges. but what thinking about upgrading to digital instead so they'll match my afx :)

Should post up a picture of his interior so I can give good recommendations.

I really like the look of A-pillar gauges, I have an Autometer Phantom boost gauge and my LC-1 wideband on there. You can always get a bezel for the center vents and put them there, but I'm saving that to put fuel and voltage there since I'm gonna replace the stock gauges in the dash.

should know my car is in the effing shop... id like to theme the interior at some point. got the AFX on my steering column, but the rest is stock. i would like to change all my gauges to red, stock and aftermarket. honestly I'm not even sure which gauges are the most important to have. I'm obviously gonna have a boost gauge. but what else should i have? the bezel i was looking at has a spot for 2. but i like the center vent mod, so that may come next if 2 isn't enough

Most important in order IMO, boost, wideband, oil pressure, water temp, volts, oil temp. The last three aren't all that necessary but my car is becoming more of a track car so I want them. LOL

yeah... my car will NEVER see the track. LOL but she's got the wide band, oil pressure and boost in it right now, but like i said i don't really like the a pillar gauges, so they'll be going once I've got the money for new digital gauges and the bezel.

Should know I would probably put the money for an extra gauge towards a turbo timer if you don't have one since you already have the 3essential gauges..they're not needed just nice to have.

should know I've already got a turbo timer, not sure what the difference in nice ones and cheesy ones are. but it works fine for what it needs to do. LOL its stealthily installed under my dash.

Should know there's not much of a difference it all does the same simple thing of keeping the car running

should know thats pretty much what i figured, its a pretty simple device and if its doing what its supposed to its perfect.

Should know I sold the DVD deck that had come with my VR-4. $220.

Wanted to buy it?

Should know I hated it. Its always going in and out and blocks the climate control and you couldn't open or close it in gears 1-3-5. The factory is so much better.

should just invest in a double din touch screen. since the hole for it is there. and everyone else on the forums should know that i know a fair amount about stereos and trouble shooting them, if they have any issues.

Should know the 3000GTs had very good stereos from the factory. The later models had up to 650 watts and a very nice head unit. Even my '94 has a good head unit with slider EQs, tape player and aux in. It had an external amp, 6.5" door speakers, 6x9" rear seat speakers, 2.5" tweeters in the dash, and a six disc cd changer in the trunk.

should know that it was probably still crap :aha:

i had over a grand into my system in my previous car... LOL my DSM will be getting nothing like that, but it'll be getting a nice Double Din touch screen deck, 4 channel amp, upgraded speakers and probably a single 8 or 10 in the hatch
