Hay there,
So I just picked up a PT 5857 turbo, and I started to polish the compressor cover to find its way too much work! So i had an idea. There's a custom painting method that uses saran wrap to add texture. Thought on how this would look on a compressor cover?

Any idea about how much a compressor cover would cost to powder coat? I understand it will vary from place to place, but a ballpark number would be nice! but yea, i think it would look different, and bold.

The thing about powdercoating is if you get it done at a bigger place it might cost more..Also getting multiple things done at once in the same color/effect actually brings cost down..

Are you on Widsm.org..Lilevo does home powdercoating..It should be pretty cheap since he doesn't have to have a huge amount of overhead, and huge oven to up the price..

That Saran painting method made me think of this... it's kinda pretty off topic but bad-ass:

At first I thought, This is the most random painting I have ever seen..Then halfway through I was like whoa..Then At the end, I was totally shocked...Very interesting..

Don't think it's the same guy, but back in 99-00, I watched a guy in downtown Vegas/Fremont St. do a bunch of paintings like that. Both guys def. have skill.
