I heard it was safe and a good thing to take out alot of them vaccum hoses that the emissions shit have in there. ALso i was gonna ask what kind of stuff can u rip out of ur car that are like emmissions taht u dont need?

yes and no...if u do take them out their for emission purposes so once their out u'll loose fuel miliage because of that...and now that gas prices are at 2.20/gal here i wana have all the emission i can get

I eliminated all my emissions (only 3 vac hoses, no egr, no selinoids, bypassed TB coolant lines.....) and I do get less mpg but I'd much rather have more room under the hood and less chance of a vac leak.

Right now I get about 16 mpg. Depends on how you drive too.

Blocking the EGR I lost about 80 - 100 miles PER TANK. It's going back in ASAP. It does free up a cubic inch of space in the super-convenient space of right against the intake manifold, but I want my fuel economy back.
