Hey, was installing my SAFCII tonight but have a question about the wiring. One set of instructions said to set up the yellow and white for the connection for slot 90, whereas another said to use pink and orange. Which ones do i really use?

Shit, I hooked it all up according to the prostreetonline.com way except the knock sensor wire cause I didnt know which wire from the ECU it was. No I'm getting P0100 engine code. WTF can I do to get rid of it? please help me, need to be able to drive it before tomorrow.

Thats a malfunctioning MAF code. Check your wiring.

Reference per the manual. Page 44 states that Vehicles with a Karmen sensor are to use the pink and orange, where as page 43 states that vehicles with hotwaire, flap, and pressure sensors are to use the white and yellow. Incase you do not have a manual, one can be found here: http://www.apexi-usa.com/pdfInstallation/18.pdf

I have never hooked up the knock sensor, but go to vfaq, electrical, 2g ecu pinouts, then look. This page is a good one to have around for the SAFC install.

For the CEL, its probally the airflow. OR the way you have the SAFC configured. (IE karmen sensor)

Ok fellas, thanks for all the great help. but i go it. when back through and changed some of the settings and double checked them. Had the throttle learning backwards and cylinders wrong. >_< sorry guys big oopsiedaisy on my part LOL

its quite common, its always the little things that mess up the install. glad it was just a setting.
