Ok im a bit confused, my car was up and running great before i put new plugs in last night. at idle would sit around 14.7 14.9. wot 11.1ish. I put in bpr6es and now it will idle at 17's and when im cruising not much throttle at all it will read 10 on WB first off here is my set up

t-25 turbo
RC550 injectors
bfmic
greddy type s bov
aem wideband
DnP tubular mani
apexi N1 exhaust no cat
apexi safc2
mbc set to 13lbs

i have no idea what happened for my A/F ratios to go crazy just after new plugs. It is kinda cold around here but i let the car warm up after the first start up with new plugs. someone please give me some ideas :banghead:

the new plugs are gapped to .028 too
 
Where you running br7's before and switched to 6? And have you changed the wires recently?

no i had some other NGK plug, i got them cause i needed plugs asap and advanced auto dont sell bpr7es or 6es around here so i eventually ordered 6es's and i put them in and now the car is acting weird. it will idle lean and then run rich. i have no clue
 
That might be your problem I'd switch to 7's. I don't think your car needs to have 6's yet with more work and a bigger Turbo and injectors then you will need the 6's. Anyone else have any input on this? When you are driving does your wide band even read? Or it just - - -

at idle its says --- when i drive it speed limit it reads 10

im all about trying to trouble shoot stuff so i just ordered NGK bpr7es. but tomorrow im gonna throw my old plugs i just replaced back in and see what happens.
 
That might be your problem I'd switch to 7's. I don't think your car needs to have 6's yet with more work and a bigger Turbo and injectors then you will need the 6's. Anyone else have any input on this? When you are driving does your wide band even read? Or it just - - -

6es are standard and 7es a re one step colder.I would really just recommend 7es for everyone.It really shouldt effect your tune that much just go over your fuel trims on the safc and make sure everything is right.

must be that i switched to the 6's i ordered 7's. i put the old ones back in and it seems fine now. idk weird. i noticed at idle a little bit of white smoke. is it cause its cool outside i see condensation water bubbles just chilling in my muffler. when they hit the floor it looks like fuel but doesnt smell like it.

6's are the appropriate plug for 98% of dsm's out there. For a bigger turbo and power you go to 7's.
