safc tuning suggestions..please.

here's my mod's

built bottom end
272's
fp3065
pte 1000cc injectors
keydiver chipped eprom for the 1000cc's
gn maft set for stock injector's
walbro 255
external regulator set to 37 psi

according to my wideband the car is crazy rich (peg's the aem on 10:1) at 15 psi thru the rev range.

im looking to bump the boost to like 18-20 on pump gas but i obviously need to take some fuel out.

do i need to set the afc any differnt for the maft? also what about injector size? do i set up the afc as if they were stock since the ecu compensates?

The chip should compensate.

Turn the boost up and then make any needed adjustments.

some stuff came with the car, some didnt. im working with what i have.

look at it this way, save your money.
Then get a bigger turbo or something that you will not being running the car for.
Then while your doing that, take out your SAFC, logger, and other tuning setup items, and sell them on here.- you could make like $400+ if you sell teh SAFC and the complete logging setup.
then, go buy a dsmlink, hook it up. Then retune with your new DSMlink

Besides The SAFC is most likely not sufficient to anything that high ( 1000cc), however I have had no experiance with compensating eprom chips. so that may help you there.

i think i have enough turbo for now.....but yeah i see your point. i probably should have just bought dsmlink, and will eventually. but my next big adventure is going to be a transmission.
