I'm going to mess with my Generic tune on the SAFC/ Translator combo. I have my translator set to what feels alright.. wideband is showing a good idle 14.7-14.9... The car drives fine, maybe a tad to rich.. but I finally have my new clutch broke in and wanted to mess with the SAFC a bit and make things better. Right now everything is 0'd out on the SAFC. My fuel trims over the course of a 45 min ride ended up looking like... FTRL stayed right at 97.6%, FTRM finally updated maybe the last 20 min of the drive and it sat right at 97.6% also. And my FTRH started out being 91.4%, after about 10 minutes went to 86.7%, and then sat at 81.2% for the remainder of the drive.
From what I've read if you can get the fuel trims within 10% the ECU will compensate and it should be alright? So in that case would my low and mid trims be ok where they are? Do you have any recomendations for the SAFC before I get home tonight and mess with this. Any input is sppreciated.
Thanks, Gary
