ok I have a SAFC II that i am going to install on my 92 laser and i was wondering if i should wire it up for a hot wire sensor since i am using a GM mass air or should i wire it up for the karman type sensor?

Well, if you are using a GM MAS, then that means you also have a MAFT (the box that translates the signal from hotwire to karman). So, being that it translates the signal that the ECU sees, then you are going to hook-up the AFC to the ECU just like you would on any other DSM.....

No because when using a hotwire sensor on the SAFC the output is also the same type of signal. The SAFC is not a translator from one signal type to another.
